Quick note from Christina: "The Legend of the Lone Ranger, a 1981 flick with Christopher Lloyd as the villain, will be released on DVD by Lions Gate on Tuesday, the 26th. You can order it online from Amazon.com. The movie pairs Lloyd with Matt Clark (Chester in BTTF 3) as the two have a few scenes together.

"While the movie was mired in controversy when it came out due to a lawsuit the producers of the film slapped on Clayton Moore, the actor who played the Lone Ranger on the popular old tv show, Lloyd himself puts in a pretty chilling performance as the ruthless villain of the piece.

"Interestingly enough, Lloyd's character was based on a character in the original Lone Ranger comics, and Lloyd did not become aware of his character's prior existence until after the film was shot. :)"
