Nicole René Stachowicz

I've finally decided to gut my original page and start something new. So here goes.

Hiya! I'm Nicole, and this will become a collection of all the things that I've found in and around Houston, San Francisco, and other places. I'm also going to start including my thoughts on life and how silly it is sometimes. And how nice it is at other times. This picture is of me at the Williams Waterwall, located at 2800 Post Oak Blvd. in Houston, Texas. It was taken by photographer (and overall nice guy) Marc Davidson during a photo shoot we did in September 2002.

I'm 100% Polish. All four of my grandparents either came from poland or have parents who immigrated from Poland. And today I found a really neat Polish restaurant in Houston that I didn't know existed. It's called Janina's and is located in the Randall's shopping center at 1304-M Blaylock north of I-10 just before Longpoint.

These are a couple more pictures that Marc took of me on our photo shoot. I liked these quite a bit.

So this is what I looked like for Halloween 2002. We were required to dress up for work, so I chose to go as a sex kitten. I had glitter all over my face and some wild cat makeup. When this picture was taken, I didn't have my lipstick or mouth makeup on just yet... I was too busy trying to bag to-go chips and get three major to-go orders ready. And I didn't win any prizes. hrumph. So what do you think?

I thought I'd throw this one in for good measure. This is a picture of me, Mike Portnoy (drummer for Dream Theater), and his sister Samantha. I've been told MANY times that she and I could pass for twins. When I finally met her in person, I had to get proof. ;-)

San Francisco is a beautiful town. One of my favorite places to go when I'm there is the Wave Organ at the Presidio. I like eating a sandwich from an Italian place and sitting in the sun. I also like Kirby's Cove, which is on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge, hang a left. Look for more pictures in December....
