Trip to Lloyd's high school |

Christopher Lloyd is one of Hollywood's brightest and most underappreciated stars. This star of stage, screen, and television has appeared in at least 41 films, 6 TV Movies 92 Taxi episodes, several episodes of Deadly Games (a short-lived UPN show), 14 other television shows, and starred in a CD-ROM game, Toonstruck.
He has won 3 Emmy Awards. Two were for his role as Reverend Jim Ignatowski in Taxi. The other was for his role as Alistair Dimple in an episode of Disney's Avonlea titled "Facts and Fictions." Other awards include the Obie Award in 1973, which is awarded by The Village Voice for Off and Off-Off Broadway Distinguished Performer, and the Drama Desk Award, which is awarded by The Drama Desk, an organization of New York theater journalists, editors, and critics, in 1973 for his performance in Off-Broadway's Kaspar. He has also won a Spirit Award for his role in the film Twenty Bucks.

Full Name: Christopher Allen Lloyd
Born: October 22, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut
Raised: New Canaan, Connecticut
Family: Youngest of four girls and three boys
High School: Staples High School, Westport, Connecticut
Further Education: Playhouse Theater in NYC
Height: 6' 1"
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Brown with some grey, cut (or shaved) to fit his current role
Nickname in the Theater: The Fog (According to the book Hailing Taxi by Frank Lovece and Jules Franco, page 77, Clarence Feldner gave him the nickname saying, "He doesn't talk much but he's a real good guy.")
Personality: Very quiet and a very private person. Lloyd does not make appearances on talk shows to promote any of his films or other projects. But in 2005 he made a rare appearance on the Tony Danza show. You can find the clip on the TV page of this site. He doesn't reply to fan mail, but he appreciates all his fans very much. He is also a very gracious man when asking for his autograph or talking with him one-on-one.
Type of Actor: Character actor. Lloyd likes coming up with a new character for each new project. Unfortunately, this highly imaginative and wonderfully talented actor has been typecast as a crazy professor due to his roles as Rev. Jim and Doctor Emmet L. Brown in the Back to the Future Trilogy.
Address: When I talked with Lloyd on October 12, 2001, he said that he does not have an address where fans can write. Please don't send fan mail to me, since I don't have his address either. Sorry I can't be of more help.
